Hyalinobatrachium pellucidum

This species has been recently discovered in Colombia, but is in danger of extinction. This is a small frog that lives in trees near rivers. Can be found in the forests of North America: Mexico, Panama, Venezuela, Bolivia, Brazil, Argentina ... around the Amazon and Orinoco rivers. Campaigns are trying to protect.
Females lay eggs on the leaves of trees and shrubs, or on the rocks, but always near the river's water so that when hatched, the tadpoles can reach the water without difficulty. Once there, finish their development.

Fact: The scientific expedition that found this frog discovered, also in the same forest in Colombia, 6 amphibians and a salamander.
